Based on the Embassy’s previous announcement for SA 2024 Election Registration Weekend on 18 and 19 November 2023, South African citizens in the Republic of Korea are kindly advised to check their voter status on the IEC website. If a person is not registered as a voter, he or she is kindly advised to register with the South African residential address. Once the IEC announces the registration process for citizens based outside the borders of South Africa, it will be easier to change to Korean address in order to be able to vote in Korea in 2024.
