Dear South Africans,
The Embassy has received a request from the Seoul National University (SNU) to promote the SNU President Fellowship (SPF)
program which the university
administers to enhance international academic cooperation and contribute to global educational development by leveraging its excellence
in education and research.
The SPF is a premier scholarship program specifically designed
for faculty members currently employed at major universities in developing
countries
—particularly in Asia, Africa, and South America—who wish to pursue Ph.D. degrees at SNU.

Please note that applicants must complete the online SPF application simultaneously with their graduate admission application through
the SNU Office of Admissions website within the designated period (Mon. July 6 – Thu. July 9, 2026 ).
